Mystery Blogger Award

Hello lovelies and Happy Friday!!! Today I was nominated for my second blogger award! It still amazes how many of you follow me and read my posts. I’m not always as active as I want to be and may take a while to respond sometimes, but I’m so grateful for all the friendships I’ve made since I started this blog.

HUGE Thanks to Phannie from Phannie the Ginger Bookworm for nominating me for the Mystery Blogger Award! If you haven’t heard of her yet, go and check out her blog and give her a follow.

Phannie’s Questions:

#1 – Tell us a funny story about yourself?

I moved here to the U.S. from the Philippines when I was 9 years old so it was difficult to adjust. I didn’t have friends and I didn’t like school very much. One day, I really didn’t feel like going to school. I told my mom I was feeling sick, but since I obviously wasn’t she made dress up and go to school. Anyway, once we were on campus, I refused to get out of the car. I kept telling my mom I had a stomach ache. Finally the principal came out and tried to talk to me. I went to a Catholic School and the principal was a nun. I guess my mom figured I’d be intimated and just go to school…BUT she was wrong. I stood my ground. Then the principal started pulling me out… I mean she was literally trying to haul me out of the car. So what did I do??? I kicked her! To my defense, I told her over and over I was feeling sick and she kept pulling my arms. I mean who does that to a scared 9 year old girl?!?! I ended up going with my mom to work, getting in big trouble, and apologizing to the principal the next week. Now my mom and I just laugh about it.

#2 – What is your favourite holiday destination?

Mostly just home. I love being with family and just relaxing during the holidays. While I do love to travel, I’m a homebody most of the time and would rather read a book or binge T.V. shows. If I were to pick one destination though, I’d pick Scotland. I’ve been obsessing about Scotland for a while now.

#3 – Your favourite travel method? (by foot, train, bus, …)

Hmm… probably by car. I love riding the train though, but the bus system in Los Angeles is pretty crazy. It’s always so crowded.

#4 – What kind of books do you read?

I read YA, NA and some middle grade book. I’m a romance addict so those are mostly what I read. I enjoy fantasy, scifi, paranormal, and recently have been getting into thrillers.

#5 – Your favourite TV shows?

I have so many…Supernatural, Game of Thrones, The 100, Lucifer, and Westworld just to name a few.

My Questions:

#1 – What’s your favorite place to read?

#2 – If you could read one book over and over, what would it be?

#3 – Have you ever DNF’ed a book?

#4 – If you had a superpower, what would it be?

#5 – Your favorite movies?

  1. Oh my goodness, you kicked a nun?? Seriously if you ever play two truths and a lie you should use that because that’s just so blissfully random. BTW, totally not faulting you because as you said you were a scared 9-year-old. Beyond that, thanks so much for tagging me, Karen!! I’ll try to get this done. Have a wonderful weekend!

But I can understand it must’ve been scary for you at the time yeah. But it definitely turned out to be a funny story now, lol.

    DISNEYLAND!!! ❤
We went to Disneyland Paris last week. It was my third time and I can't get enough of it haha. I'll always be a Disney girl at heart! My 4yr old loved it as well, it was his first time! It's a dream of mine to visit ALL parcs across the world someday. Hope I can someday fulfill this dream 🙂
