Goodreads Monday

Hello lovelies and Happy Monday! Time for another Goodreads Monday which is a weekly meme by Lauren’s Page Turners’ blog!

To participate, just choose a random book from your Goodreads TBR and show it off. For this meme, I’ll be focusing on a random book that I don’t own (hardcopy or ebooks) on my Goodreads “want-to-read” page.

What’s sexier than a bad boy? A bad ass man who’s got his shit together. Max Alexander is nearing thirty-five. He’s built a successful company, and he’s conquered the professional world, but he’s never been lucky in love. Focusing so much time on his business and raising his daughter, adulting has come at the expense of his personal life. His social skills are shit, his patience is shot, and at times, his temper runs hot. The last thing he has time for is the recently single, too gorgeous for her own good young woman he hires to take care of his little girl. She’s a distraction he doesn’t need, and besides, there’s no way she’d be interested. But you know what they say about assumptions?

I really like Kendall Ryan’s writing style and enjoyed the first two books of this series so of course I added this on my Goodreads TBR. But… like always, I sort of forgot about it since I add books to my TBR on a daily basis. Well, I’m really hoping I can get to this soon. I get into different reading moods and right now is perfect since I’ve been reading a lot of romance and NA books.

Have you read this book? Did you love it or hate it? Let me know in the comments!

Have a wonderful reading week loves!

  1. I’ve audiobooked a couple of Kendall Ryan’s books including the Hitched series and The Fix-Up. I don’t find myself falling head over heels for her stories, but they’re not that bad and they’re nice when I need something quick and dirty (yikes LOL) to occupy and indulge me.

    • I’ve only ever read the two books in this series and so far they’re pretty okay. They’re not the best and the stories weren’t super great or original.. but I get what I need from them haha… so I totally get what you mean about the quick and dirty part LOL. Sometimes I just need a little quickie. Nothing wrong with that haha.
