Seven Facts About Me

  1. I love Disney – I think most of you know this about me. I’m an annual pass holder for Disneyland and if I can, I try to go at least once a month. I love everything about that place and meeting the characters.
  2. I love Food – I’m such a foodie and love eating at different places and trying new things. My favorite types of food are Mediterranean and Mexican Cuisine. I also really love seafood and steak.
  3. I love Baking – I haven’t done this in a while, but I love to bake cupcakes, cookies, and French macarons. I’ve done a few others, but those are the ones I like to do the most.
  4. I love watching scary movies (even if I have to watch them by myself). The thrill from being scared is just the best feeling ever.
  5. I used to have a Small Business. I handmade nail polishes and sold them online. My brand was Sincerely Polish and it was pretty successful during the 3 years I did it. It was just really tiring and stressful running a small business while working full time, so I sadly had to let it go. Maybe sometime in the future I’ll go back to it… who knows. Here’s one of my creations. I also still have my Instagram for Sincerely Polish if you want to check it out, but I’ve been inactive for more than 1 year. 5672ff426b305880466bba88bec49e15
  6. I don’t have a favorite singer, band or type of music. I listen to pretty much anything that I can connect with and makes me feel good. Sometimes it’s rap, pop, rock, country classical, or jazz. Just depends on my mood. I do however have favorite songs.
  7. I’m deathly afraid of being bitten by a shark and being in the ocean. Just thinking about what’s in the ocean scares me. I can lounge around the beach, but I won’t swim out. I do like looking at the waves and just enjoying the scenery. But if I can, I would definitely avoid getting into the ocean. That being said, it might surprise you that I’ve actually gone surfing several times, helmet diving, jet skiing, sailing and snorkeling. I may be afraid and not too fond of the ocean, but I like being adventurous and doing activities that seem fun and exciting.

  1. Woohoo! Thanks for the nomination! I’m a big fan of Disney as well (helps to be named after a Disney princess, LOL!). I’m always jealous of people who are able to visit Disney as often as they’d like – that’s just too cool to me!

    • I love your name and Jasmine is one of my favorites! I mean they all are, but I really love the movie Aladdin! I try to go as much as I can, but my boyfriend is getting tired of Disney haha. I’ve heard of this one guy who goes every single day and he’s been doing that for a few years. He stays for a few hours and sometimes just an hour, but he goes everyday. lol

      • That is AMAAAAAZING! I literally have not been to Disney since I was six years old. *sigh* one day I’ll finally save up some money to take a trip down there with a friend. I do love Aladdin too–I’m very excited for the live action film to come out.

      • I’m excited too! All the live action Disney films are so fun and always gets to me. When I watched Beauty and the Beast in the theater the first time, I cried haha. I thought okay I won’t cry the second or third time… well I’ve seen that movie maybe like 5 times now (since it was on netflix) and I still cry. But I love it!

Oh mannnn… Disneyland is totally different now than it was before. Be prepared for a massive crowd and lots and lots of strollers LOL. Definitely try to go a few days cause there is no way you can finish everything in one day. But that would be such an awesome vacation with friends. It’s always so much for fun with more people.

I’m actually planning on trying to visit (at least once) all the Disney Parks. I think if my family ends up going to the Philippines this year, we might make a stop at Hong Kong and go to the Disneyland there.

    • Awwww thanks hun!!

Yes.. ocean water freaks me out haha. Like you said, you can’t see anything under so what if a shark or jelly fish sneaks up on you or some other weird unknown sea creature LOL. Just Nooo haha. BUT, if I’m on vacation or something, then I try to be daring, adventurous, and do water activities.

Looking forward to reading your post soon! Take care love!

    • You’re welcome! I haven’t made them in over a year, but I totally would share! I actually don’t even like eating them all that much. I prefer cupcakes, cakes, and cookies, so I don’t have any problem giving them all away haha. I just like making them. =)

      • I guess they could be. You can’t over mix or under mix the batter. You have to let them dry before you bake them. There’s a finger test. Once the cookies are dry to the touch you can put them in the oven. But you also have to know your oven. I guess not all ovens are the same so when I was researching how to make them, some recipes would say 325 degrees for a longer time and 375 for a shorter time… Mannn it was a mess haha. I basically had to learn how my oven is.

Well, that one is long gone now. Got a new stove (dual oven) almost two years ago. That’s why I haven’t made any haha. I don’t have time to figure out how this new oven works.

Oh and another thing to take into consideration is the weather… in bakeries, their kitchen is temp controlled. But my kitchen isn’t sooo tricky tricky….

It is an amazing feeling when I make pretty looking batches =).

      • I’m the WORST baker in known history. I can cook pretty well, but since baking takes such precise measurements (and factors that you mentioned above) I inevitably screw it up. I guess I’ll have to stick with paying a gazillion dollars for store-bought ones! 😛
