WWW Wednesdays

wwwwednesday

Hello lovelies! Time for another reading update.

WWW Wednesday which is a weekly segment hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

Just answer these three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

I recently finished reading Smoke and Ruin by Tiffany Duane which I thought was a great conclusion to The Siren Chronicles Series. I didn’t love it as much as I thought I would, but I enjoyed it a lot. I’ll have my review up sometime next week. My favorite from the series is definitely the second book, Curses and Ash. You can read my review for that HERE. I also finished reading A Kiss in the Dark by Gina Ciocca. This book was fun, adorable, and sweet. I loved the mystery aspect and the twist in the end. My review for this one should be up in a few days. I wouldn’t say I finished this next book, but I was sick over the weekend and decided to try and read it. Sadly, I had my first DNF for 2018 and gave up reading The Book of Whispers by Kimberley Starr. Read my review HERE.

I didn’t follow through with my plan for what to read next from last week’s post, so I’m currently reading All the Wrong Chords by Christine Hurley Deriso and Dark Wish  (Starlight Gods#1) by Yumoyori Wilson. I’m only a few chapters in, but so far they’re both okay. I decided to put a short hold on reading Bad Business by Nicole Edwards. Just not feeling that one at the moment, but I still want to finish it. Hopefully in a few days or so.

I have a few blog tours coming up so here are the books I plan to read in the next week or so.  This Heart of Mine by C.C. Hunter, Phoenix Fire by S.D. Grimm, Tainted Rose by Yumoyori Wilson, and Our Dark Stars by Audrey Grey and Krystal Wade.

What’s your WWW Wednesday? Have you read any of these books? Leave your comments and links to your post so I can check it out. Have a lovely day!

    • It’s okay. I had a feeling I would DNF it since last year, but I decided to give it another go. It just makes me feel so bad when I DNF. I try to at least finish the book, but I really couldn’t read this book.
