Top Ten Tuesday – Travel the World in Books

Hello lovely bookworms! It’s time for another segment of Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and has been moved to That Artsy Reader Girl since January 16, 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is Books Taking Place in Another Country. I don’t know about you, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE traveling. I’ve been to more than 10 countries and my favorite places so far are Amsterdam, Switzerland, and Peru, but I’ve been dreaming about going to Scotland, Greece, Italy, and Iceland for the longest time. I really wish I can travel more often cause there are so many beautiful countries I want to visit, but traveling in real life can get very expensive. That’s why I love reading books that take me to wonderful settings that are just beautiful! Today, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite books that transported me to magical and breathtaking places and a few I definitely want to check out soon.

    • Did you know there’s a movie for the Ruby Red Trilogy? It’s foreign but it looks really good. I’ve only watched the first one and enjoyed that a lot!

Anna and the French Kiss is a cute contemporary, but my favorite for that series is Lola and the Boy Next Door. =)

Okay, I want to get my hands on Lola too. I’m making myself take a book buying drought. I have purchased so many book this month!

      • Yay! I hope you enjoy reading the series… And I totally get what you mean about book buying bans. I’ve been on one for a while…. It’s only a matter of time before I cave…BUT even if I’m not buying, I’m requesting on Netgalley and downloading free kindle books from bookbub sooo my TBR list keeps getting longer and longer. LOL

      • I totally get you. I’ve been telling myself that I wont request any more e-ARC’s because I need to catch up on my TBR list. Yup, doesn’t stop me! LOL. I just need to come to terms that I’ll have a huge TBR forever. I also have been putting a lot of books on hold through the Library. I brought home 11 books yesterday! haha!
