2017 Reading Challenge

So I started off with the plan to read 100 books and was going pretty strong in the beginning. However, the last 3 months of 2017 was really hectic for me and I was so busy that I had to change my reading challenge to 80 books. While I didn’t get to read as much in December, I ended up finishing 85 books in 2017. That’s 3 more books than last year so Yay!!!

Here’s a recap of all the books I read in 2017.

December 2017 Wrap-Up

monthlywrapupHello lovely readers!!! Hope 2018 is treating you well so far. As for me, I’m still struggling quite a bit with trying to find the balance between with work, reading, blogging, and adulting. I’ve been really tired lately and haven’t had the energy to plan, read or blog. Every night after work, all I want to do is Netflix… I recently binged Stranger Things with my boyfriend and that show seriously put me on a “show” hangover. I guess you can say I’m obsessed — I even named my boyfriend’s new car Eleven. (He was in an accident beginning of December with his car being totaled and finally bought a new one last weekend). But..but.. I’m slowly planning day by day and hopefully will be able to get back on track by next week.

For the month of December, I read 3 books total. I know it’s not a lot, but considering everything that happened and the holidays, I’m very happy with this little accomplishment. Plus, I really enjoyed reading them… so without further ado, here they are!

My heart is going so crazy over this beautiful story. I absolutely cannot wait to read the next installment! That ending twisted my emotions and was so painfully gorgeous! I’ll have my full review soon.

Hinder by Kristin Ping

4 ★ – Deliciously Fun, Undeniably Steamy, and Wonderfully Enthralling

While there were some parts of the story that irked me a bit, this book was still an absolute fun and delightful read. With a thrilling storyline, imaginative world building, fantastic characters, and a forbidden romance, Hinder had me enchanted until the end and anticipating the rest of the series.

How did you do with your December TBR? What were some of your favorite books? Have you read any of these three books? Let me know in the comments down below!

As always, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!!
