Hello Bookish friends! Time for another Favorite Quotes Fridays, which is a weekly segment that features 2-3 of my favorite quotes from a book I’ve read and loved. For my pick this week, I’m choosing a book series that absolutely drove me crazy… but in a good way. I always say I have love/hate relationship with this series because I remember feeling so frustrated I wanted to throw a tantrum and scream, but at the same time I could not stop reading.
Tada!! The Selection Series by Kiera Cass made me FEEL SO MUCH and at the end of it all… I really enjoyed and had fun. Maxon… where do I even begin. He’s an absolute sweetheart and so swoon-worthy! (Featuring him for tomorrow’s Swoony Saturdates).

Okay okay, I know I have more than 3 quotes here, but seriously… if these quotes doesn’t make you swoon, then I don’t know what will. I’m completely having some FEELS here just doing this…really missed how much this series made my emotions go crazy! I think I need to reread this series again… and really soon.

OMG, I’m so IN LOVE with these quotes. I haven’t fallen in love before (I mean, at least not with a real person I interacted with, besides celebs and/or fictional characters) but every time I read quotes like these, I feel like I have…. over and over again. THE FEELS ARE REAL. Thank you for sharing them!!! I want to do a reread….

Right?!?! Whenever I read them I’m like remembering how I felt reading the books and I just want to read them all again.
I like and enjoy a lot of books, but there are always those special ones that always get to me. =)

I know what you mean. The last two books weren’t that bad. It was actually better than I expected since I heard so many negative things about it. But, it just wasn’t necessary at all to have those two books. Eadlyn was a great character, but honestly didn’t care for her. She wasn’t as frustrating as America and I loved her relationship with her twin, but I just didn’t get the same FEELS with her. I guess that’s why most people couldn’t connect with those two books. I was more interested in America and Maxon the entire time and reading about all the other characters from the trilogy. Those were the best parts for me lol.

Ikr about America and Maxon haha. I thought that Maxon acted pretty weak compared to the trilogy though…

That’s true….but I’ll take what I can get as long as Maxon’s in it haha. I was also really hoping the book series would get picked up for a T.V. series, but the two pilots were never picked up =(

I’m not a fan of the series (It frustrates me how long the love triangle is dragged out) but I did enjoy the writing and those quotes are fantastic.
