When his girlfriend joins the army; Theodore Sway is left to raise their daughter on his own. His shitty job barely covers the ever-rising cost of his San Francisco neighborhood. When Lulu is accepted at a hipster private school, Theo is forced to find a better job. He does what any good parent would – he becomes a stripper.

Theo sacrifices his ego, his morals, and his body hair so his daughter can have the kind of childhood he’s always dreamt about. With the encouragement of his not-so-helpful club brothers and Sylvie, his ex-stripper BFF, Sway struggles to maintain balance between his sexy stage persona and his role as the world’s okayest dad.

Author Bio:

Nicole was born and raised in California. She claims to be a San Francisco native, however she’s lived in both Northern and Southern California. She credits her creativity to the fact that she attended 12 schools between kindergarten and her senior year in high school. Her nomadic childhood allowed her to reinvent herself often. Some might say she was a liar. While others see the stories she told as a coping mechanism. Twelve schools, in six cities, in twelve years – give her a break. Today she channels her storytelling ability into writing novels. Long story short – kids that lie become writers.

WWW Wednesdays

Hello lovelies!! My week has been dragging so much. Thanksgiving was such a nice break and I miss it so much already. Anyway, time for another WWW Wednesdays which is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

Just answer these three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

With hustle and bustle during my Thanksgiving break, I didn’t have time to read as much as I had planned. I thought I would get a few hours here and there, but my days were jam packed with activities. Having said that, I did manage to finish reading  Instructions for a Secondhand Heart by Tamsyn Murray and I loved it! It’s painfully real, incredibly affecting, and so beautifully written. I’ll have my review for that later on in the week.

I’m still reading The Heartbreak Cure by Amanda Ashby from Entangled Teen Crush. As I mentioned last WWW Wednesday, I started reading this before Thanksgiving Day, but I didn’t get to really read it until Sunday night. I’m almost halfway done and so far the story is dragging a bit. The plot is quite intriguing and fun, but for some reason it’s not holding my interest. Maybe I’m burned out from work or having a Holiday hangover.

I’m part of a blog tour and still trying to knock off as many books on my Netgalley TBR, so I still plan on reading the same books I had from last week –  The Sweetheart Sham (Southern Charmed #1) by Danielle Ellison and Where I Found You by Heidi R. Kling.

Hopefully next week I’ll have new books to include in my WWW Wednesday. How are you all doing with your TBR? What are on your WWW Wednesday this? Leave a comment down below. And as always, thanks for reading and have a great day!!

Sincerely Karen Jo
