Addie is visiting Ireland for her aunt’s over-the-top destination wedding, and hoping she can stop thinking about the one horrible thing she did that left her miserable and heartbroken—and threatens her future. But her brother, Ian, isn’t about to let her forget, and his constant needling leads to arguments and even a fistfight between the two once inseparable siblings. Miserable, Addie can’t wait to visit her friend in Italy and leave her brother—and her problems—behind.

So when Addie discovers an unusual guidebook, Ireland for the Heartbroken, hidden in the dusty shelves of the hotel library, she’s able to finally escape her anxious mind and Ian’s criticism.

And then their travel plans change. Suddenly Addie finds herself on a whirlwind tour of the Emerald Isle, trapped in the world’s smallest vehicle with Ian and his admittedly cute, Irish-accented friend Rowan. As the trio journeys over breathtaking green hills, past countless castles, and through a number of fairy-tale forests, Addie hopes her guidebook will heal not only her broken heart, but also her shattered relationship with her brother.

That is if they don’t get completely lost along the way.

reviewthoughts

Love and Luck was such an adorable story about self-discovery, family, healing, friendship and love. It’s sweet. It’s funny. It’s so full of heart and a must read you cannot miss!

I was totally smitten with Love and Gelato, so I was really excited for this book. Luckily, Jenna Evans Welch managed to incorporate all the things I fell in love with and enjoyed in her debut novel into this charming companion story – breathtaking settings, lovable characters, humor, wonderful relationships, a dash of drama and a hint of romance. The  writing was absolutely beautiful, descriptive and so realistic. I felt as if I was part of the story and I enjoyed every moment.

Love comes in different forms and there is something so precious about the kind of love between friends and families. I really enjoyed the amazing friendships and family dynamics in this book. The silly arguments, bantering, and heartfelt conversations between the characters, specially Addie and Ian, were positively endearing and made me smile and laugh a few times.

I thought the characters were all likable and interesting in their own ways, but Rowan without a doubt stole a piece of my heart. He’s funny, sweet, adorable, a great friend and totally swoon-worthy.

Love and Luck was a wonderfully charming and entertaining read. It’s full of heartwarming moments and by the end, I was absolutely tearing up and had all these warm fuzzies. I’m definitely looking forward to whatever adventure Welch is planning next.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley. All thought and opinions are my own.

1.Get over my best friend’s brother.

2.Remember that I’m over him.

3.Prove I can date other people.

It should be easy.

It’s not.

Setting up a dating website with the guy I’ve been in love with since I was five wasn’t my smartest idea.

Especially since he’s my best friend’s brother—thankfully, she’s okay with the fact I’m pulling a Sandy and I’m hopelessly devoted to him.

Which is why it’s time to get over him.

So I do something crazy and ask Dominic Austin to find me a date. He does—if I find him one, too.

Since we own Stupid Cupid, it should be easy, right? And it is.

My date is perfect. His date is perfect. Everything is perfect.

Until he kisses me…

Three dates.

One kiss.

And a big-ass mess…

Hilarious and Satisfyingly Entertaining

reviewthoughts

The Dating Experiment was absolutely a delight to read. I’ve never read anything by Emma Hart before, but I’m definitely intrigued and really interested now. This was such a fun and satisfyingly entertaining story and I loved every moment!

I don’t want to give too many details and ruin all the fun, but this was probably the most angsty story I’ve read in a very long time. The bantering between Dom and Chloe was too much sometimes, but surprisingly worked really well for them. They were both too stubborn, too ridiculous, and too crazy about each other that they would argue until there’s no tomorrow. It was insanely fun watching them together and I’d be lying if I say I didn’t laugh and enjoyed every single second. Dom and Chloe were so frustratingly adorable and hilarious that I could not get enough. Totally loved their unique chemistry — deliciously intense, incredibly passionate, and so swoony.

I also really adored all the characters and thought they were fantistically charming and fun. Chloe, Peyton and Mellie were awesome and I loved how honest they were with each other. Aside from the ridiculously angsty romance which I LOVED, I certainly enjoyed the friendship between these women. They were supportive, loyal, and absolutely hilarious together. If you can have girlfriends like them, I don’t think you’d ever be bored.

This book was fast-paced, easy to read, and undeniably entertaining from start to finish. It’s funny, realistic, steamy and sweet. The ending was romantic and left my heart feeling happy. It’s totally the kind of book I love curling up with. Definitely recommend you check this book out.

I received an advance reader copy of this book from the author via the Inkslinger Blooger Program. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

1.Hate-screw my high school nemesis.
2.Remember to hate him.
3.Prove my brother wrong.
It should be easy.
It isn’t.

As the owner of Pick-A-D*ck, New Orleans’ premier hook-up website, my job is simple. Connect two people for a no-strings, no-expectations hook-up. The plus for my clients is that I’m the one who gets to sift through the d*ck pics—except this time, they’re required.

My problem? My brother, co-owner of Pick-A-D*ck’s sister dating site, doesn’t believe it’s possible to hook up with someone three times and not fall in love.
I disagree. I know it’s possible.

And my disagreement is exactly how I end up reconnected with my high school nemesis, Elliott Sloane. The guy who asked me to junior prom and then stood me up. Who egged my car when I rejected him, and convinced my senior homecoming date to ghost me.

It should be easy to hate-screw him. If only he was still that person, instead of a hot-as-hell single dad, working as a builder to make ends’ meet, fighting for custody of his daughter.

Three hook-ups.
One outcome.
Right?
