TTT: Book Series I’m Thankful For

toptentuesday

Hello loves and Happy almost Thanksgiving Day! I’m super excited for some family and food time. This year I’ll be cooking Filipino Spaghetti with plenty of Filipino hotdogs… Yummm!!! Filipino spaghetti is one of my favorite dishes and it’s absolutely delish!! It’s sweet, savory and so cheesy.

Anyway, this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is – Books that have touched my heart and left me feeling so thankful that they exist. Honestly, I’m so thankful for EVERY book I have whether I’ve read them or not. Books are magical in every way… at least they are to me, so I decided to pick  10 book series that have left wonder and magic in my life.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted by  The Broke and the Bookish.

Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer

I will always be thankful that this series exist. Not only were these books so easy and fun to read, but they’re also what got me back into reading again. If that’s not magic, then I don’t know what is.

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

I’ve mentioned this over and over, but this series is absolutely AMAZING. I love fairy tales in general and these retellings…. so wonderfully done. Kickass female heroines, charming and lovable “princes,” enthralling world building, suspenseful storylines, and insane plot twists make this series one epic and magical roller coaster ride!

Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Hunger Games is a fun and entertaining series, but also very brutal and heartbreaking. There were plenty of moments that just made me angry and upset. But what’s magical about this series is — it also made me hope and inspired me to always do the right thing no matter how hard that may be.

The Young Elites Series by Marie Lu

Marie Lu is one of my favorite authors and this series made me ache so much, but in a painfully wonderful way. Not only is there actual magic in the series, but the writing, the characters, the story, the themes and literally everything else were incredibly mesmerizing.

Doon Series by Lorie Langdon and Carey Corp

I love this series so much. The writing is flawless. The pacing is great. The friendships are goals. The romance is swoony and cute. The adventure is magical. The suspense and conflict are well written. And just EVERYTHING about this series is just undeniably wonderful.

Shatter Me Series by Tahereh Mafi

This series is so utterly beautiful and fascinating! From gorgeous writing, perfectly flawed characters, and thought-provoking themes, this series is just pure magic! So thrilled there are 3 more books because… WARNER!!! I cannot wait to spend time with my boo again.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

There’s something really magical when books can make my heart full of happy. This duology turned trilogy is one of my favorite YA contemporary romance. It’s ridiculously adorable, quite nostalgic, and absolutely heartwarming. It’s filled with many sweet moments that made me reminiscence and gave me those warm fuzzy feelings.

The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare

While I haven’t been caught up with this series, I’m definitely a huge fan of all the magical creatures. Not to mention the books also has plenty of action, suspense, humor, and romance.

The Selection Series by Kiera Cass (Trilogy)

I have a love/hate relationship with this series, but if I’m going to be really honest… I definitely have more LOVE. And the FEELS with this series — just fantastic and wonderful in every way!

Starstruck Series by S.E. Anderson

This series is well-crafted, hilarious, and outrageously fun! I think it’s pretty magical when books can make you laugh out loud and this series definite did that!
