This was one of my first eARC approval via Netgalley. I haven’t read it yet (I know I know shame shame shame)…but I will. I’m just a mood reader and usually get into high fantasy and sci-fi during fall/winter. Since it’s cooling down a bit and I’ve read so many YA contemporary I’ll be starting this by the end of the week.

As you can tell, I haven’t read most of these books… I’m getting behind again on catching up with my Netgalley ARCs. Adulting is really not fun sometimes. So many last minute and unexpected things come up that I have to handle. BUT I’ve been pretty good and only requested 3 books (and haven’t bought physical books other than the ones I’ve already preordered). Trying really hard not to request anymore until I knock off half of my current Netgalley TBR.

Kalifus Rising is without a doubt one of the best sequels I’ve ever read. I love the characters, the mystery, the adventure, and everything else in between. I love the themes Adams weaves into this crazy FUNTASTIC tale (self-discovery, courage, loyalty, family, friendship, forgiveness and so much more). You’ll definitely be walking away with a smile on your face, a happy heart, and a chest full of life lessons. Definitely go check this out right now and add it to your TBR.
As I’m writing this review, I’m more than 70% done with the third and final book. I’m totally dreading the end, but I can’t wait to see how Adams concludes this series.
