Adoring You - Vic Tyler (Cover) - small

Published: December 19, 2018

Genre(s): Contemporary, New Adult Romance

synopsis

Fame. Glamour. Stardom.
There’s nothing Michele could want that she can’t have.

Except for the attention of the man acting like she doesn’t exist.
It was by pure accident that she fell on him – and maybe, for him – upon a chance encounter. After sharing one night of musical passion, she can’t help but hope for more, only to leave broken-hearted.
Because when another person is involved, he has to want her just as much as she wants him.

Music. Passion. Innovation.
Peter’s life was simple before her.

The only thing on his mind was his travels and his work.
Until her voice and her smile started to consume his thoughts.
What started as curiosity turned to intrigue and then to something more.
When his job calls him back to reality, he must choose between his head and his heart.

Adoring You is a sweet, steamy, standalone romance novella.

mythoughts

A deliciously swoony and dazzling love story that made my heart melt

So, I don’t normally don’t pick up novellas or short books cause I personally prefer something longer to read. But, I must admit… they’re quite interesting and absolutely enjoyable in their own ways… at least the ones that are beautifully written. Adoring You by Vic Tyler was definitely that and more. It was just as sexy and hot as it was sweet, swoony, and heartwarming. I had fun reading it and fell in love with both the MCs.

I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed this story. It was seductive and beautifully affecting that I found myself glued to the pages. I thought the writing style was elegant, gorgeous, and tantalizing. I could feel every emotion the author wanted me to experience and it was intoxicating. The plot was wonderfully well-developed and I was enamored the entire time. The characters were all likable and interesting. I adored Peter and Michele and thought their chemistry was intense and utterly delicious! I loved that they were both as passionate about their music and career as much as they were about each other. The story ended with a predictable, but delightfully swoony HEA that for sure will make you fall in love with being in love.

Adoring You was a dazzling love story that captivated me and made my heart melt over and over. I love Tyler’s message about passion, love, and life. It was a short, but there was also a lovely emotional depth weaved throughout the novel. It’s a story you’d want to savor and share and I think romance lovers would be enamored just as much as I was.

This was truly a pleasant, irresistibly swoony, and deliciously satisfying read and I highly recommend you check it out. Vic Tyler managed to capture my heart and I can’t wait to read more of her books.

I received an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. All thoughts, feelings and swoons are my own.

But the music. It was the bread and butter of my life. That was the one thing that never changed. The power that music held to sway you to joy, sorrow, anger, relief, grief, and even to emotons you never knew you were capable of feeling. The stories in the melody, enhanced by the artistry of lyrics, and each intrusment contributing their voice to build a powerful piece that filled your ears and shook you down to your bones.

A woman with no secrets loses the mystery that makes her charm.

You cast a siren’s spell on me, and I have been bewitched ever since. Every second I spend away from you feels like an eternity, and every second I am with you leaves me wanting more.

abouttheauthor

Vic Tyler is a new author of contemporary romance and new adult novels.
She recently got a Kindle, and her nose is glued to the screen if her hands aren’t jibber-jabbering away on her laptop.

VT has a tinkering sense of wanderlust and loves to travel to new places, explore new cultures, and most importantly, eat delicious new food. Her hobbies include hiking, baking, watching movies, fantasizing, and being out on the ocean.

She dreams that one day she will finally have nice handwriting, own a collection of onesies, and make a croquembouche. Her current music binge playlist includes Queen, Michael Buble, and Migos (her music taste has been often called questionable and “awful,” a title she totes proudly for no reason whatsoever).
She also has no idea what anyone would possibly want to know about her, so she’s just going to stop writing now.

VT loves talking to people, so feel free to email her at

mythoughts

Undeniably Fascinating, Deliciously Dark, and Emotionally Twisty

5hearts2

Blood was spilled. Hearts were broken. And the intoxicating FEELS in this sequel will have you reeling!!!

This book left me absolutely stunned! And I mean that in the most wonderful way. Josie Jaffrey brought me back into this deliciously dark and terrifying, but undeniably fascinating dystopian world without holding anything back. As I’m thrown deeper into this world, I was positively engrossed by Jaffrey’s beautiful writing, her creativity, and the perfectly broken and flawed characters you can’t help but love. The plot was wonderfully paced, utterly thrilling, and there was never a dull moment. I loved the twists and turns, the fabulous fighting scenes, the secret and lies, the confusion and heartbreak, the romances, the drama, the few lighthearted moments sprinkled here and there, and everything else in between. It was truly an addictive read and I enjoyed every second with every beat of my heart.

I enjoyed both the POVs. They were both different journeys, but still had the same intensity, thrill, and excitement. I loved the way Jaffrey merged them and how everything came together in the end. The story consumed me in ways that I never expected and left me incredibly concerned for the characters I’ve come to know and love. I really want to rave about EVERYTHING that happened in this book, but I’m not going to do that. You’ll just have to continue this adventure for yourself if you’ve already started, and if you haven’t, then you should cause this book… this series… it’s just so damn good!

The Silver Queen was a fantastic and thrillingly twisty emotional ride that I never wanted to end. With plenty of action, betrayal, mystery, romance and danger lurking at every corner, this book had me gripping the edge of my seat. The cliffhanger in the end left me desperately and in dire need to be back in this world and I’m so glad I don’t have to wait cause I’m sinking my teeth into The Bloody Prince as soon as I finish this review.

I received an advance e-copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest and fair review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Spoiler Alert: May give clues on how the story plays out so read at your own risk!

We’re all just people, and everyone has an agenda, whether they admit it or not. That makes people with power dangerous, and that’s not what I want to be.

It would have been so neat, but life was never like that, was it? Live was always messy.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that our kind would be your savior.

You’re the person who taught me how much more fun everything is when you share it. You’re fierce, and adventurous, and a little bit terrifying when you’re angry, and that was all before you turned into a crossbow-shooting, knife-wielding maniac.
