Latanya’s Questions

Favorite Pizza Topping? I’m a meat kind of girl, so definitely pepperoni, sausage, and Canadian bacon.

If You Won a First-Class Plane Ticket, Where Would You Go? This one’s easy – Scotland. I’ve been obsessed with Scotland since finishing the Doon Series by Lorie Langdon and Carey Corp.

If You Could Have a Co-Author? There are sooo many amazing authors… how can I just pick one. I think at this moment I would pick Colleen Hoover. Hopeless is one of my favorite books and I love romance stories that has all the FEELS.

What’s Your Typical Saturday Like? Make breakfast for the fam, walk the dog, do laundry, organize my books, read a little, bookstagram, catch up on shows, walk the dog again, and spend time with my boyfriend.

For One Million Dollars, Would You Rather: Stick Your Hand in a Box of Snakes or Stick Your Hand in a Tub of Spiders? Definitely hand in a box of snakes. I’ve held a snake before and it wasn’t that bad, but spiders… NOOOO WAY!!! Even for a Billion of Dollars!

Three things about myself:

#1 – I love Disneyland

#2 – I enjoy watching scary movies.

#3 – I can eat lemon like oranges and tomatoes like apples.

My best posts:

#1 – Review – Above the Sky

#2 – Book Mail – Starswept

#3 – WWW Wednesdays

Phannie’s Questions:

#1 – Tell us a funny story about yourself?

I moved here to the U.S. from the Philippines when I was 9 years old so it was difficult to adjust. I didn’t have friends and I didn’t like school very much. One day, I really didn’t feel like going to school. I told my mom I was feeling sick, but since I obviously wasn’t she made dress up and go to school. Anyway, once we were on campus, I refused to get out of the car. I kept telling my mom I had a stomach ache. Finally the principal came out and tried to talk to me. I went to a Catholic School and the principal was a nun. I guess my mom figured I’d be intimated and just go to school…BUT she was wrong. I stood my ground. Then the principal started pulling me out… I mean she was literally trying to haul me out of the car. So what did I do??? I kicked her! To my defense, I told her over and over I was feeling sick and she kept pulling my arms. I mean who does that to a scared 9 year old girl?!?! I ended up going with my mom to work, getting in big trouble, and apologizing to the principal the next week. Now my mom and I just laugh about it.

#2 – What is your favourite holiday destination?

Mostly just home. I love being with family and just relaxing during the holidays. While I do love to travel, I’m a homebody most of the time and would rather read a book or binge T.V. shows. If I were to pick one destination though, I’d pick Scotland. I’ve been obsessing about Scotland for a while now.

#3 – Your favourite travel method? (by foot, train, bus, …)

Hmm… probably by car. I love riding the train though, but the bus system in Los Angeles is pretty crazy. It’s always so crowded.

#4 – What kind of books do you read?

I read YA, NA and some middle grade book. I’m a romance addict so those are mostly what I read. I enjoy fantasy, scifi, paranormal, and recently have been getting into thrillers.

#5 – Your favourite TV shows?

I have so many…Supernatural, Game of Thrones, The 100, Lucifer, and Westworld just to name a few.

My Questions:

#1 – What’s your favorite place to read?

#2 – If you could read one book over and over, what would it be?

#3 – Have you ever DNF’ed a book?

#4 – If you had a superpower, what would it be?

#5 – Your favorite movies?
