Romance Readers Book Tag

I saw this fun tag from Sheri over at TV Addicted Bookworm and being a romance addict, I just had to do it. I do read other genre(s), but I definitely prefer books with romances. Don’t forget to visit Sheri and give her some love! Her blog is totally awesome!!!

romancereaderstagWHAT AGE DID YOU START TO READ ROMANCE NOVELS?

I would have to say 14 years old. The first romance book I remember reading was A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks during my freshman year in High School.

IF YOU COULD PICK ONE HERO TO MEET FROM YOUR FAVORITE ROMANCE NOVELS, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

Yeah.. I don’t know. I’ve met and fallen in love so many times that I definitely can’t pick just one… Okay… if I had to pick, I would go with Noah from The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks because he waited for Allie, built her a house, and stayed by her side through her sickness. But, if I can choose more than one, I’d would want to meet Dean Holder, Aaron Warner, Maxon Schreave, and so many others!!!

WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE ROMANCE AUTHORS AND WHY?

So so many!!! I recently fell in love with K.A Linde and Rachel Van Dyken. I love Colleen Hoover. Her books are like torture but in the good kind of way. I can’t read it unless I’m in the mood cause it gets too much sometimes. Nicholas Sparks made my heart ache so many times so definitely including him. Emma Chase, Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland are pretty awesome too. Martina Boone writes feel good comforting romances and I love her Celtic Legends series. Jennifer Armentrout and Kasie West books are some of my faves. But yeah I sooo have way more than these amazing authors.

WHAT IS A FAVORITE ROMANCE NOVEL TO RE-READ?

I’ve reread A Walk to Remember twice and The Notebook quite a few times. There are some other books I want to re-read, but just don’t have the time. Plus, I’m always behind my TBR and new books keep coming out, so for now, I don’t really reread as much as I would like.

WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU RECOMMEND TO A NON-ROMANCE READER?

Hmmm. The Notebook by Nicholas Spars, Lake of Destiny by Martina Boone, and Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover.

WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE: CONTEMPORARY, SUSPENSE, HISTORICAL AND WHY?

Definitely contemporary, but if there’s mystery or suspense mixed it, then that’s even better. I’ve recently started to get into historical romance and so far I like it.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed reading this post. Tagging these lovelies and all my fellow swoonaholics! Don’t forget to tag me and leave the link to your posts!

WWW Wednesdays – August 14, 2018

wwwwednesdaynew

Hi Loves!!! Yup, it’s been just about a month since I did a WWW Wednesday post. I’ve been kind of jumping around and not really following my planned monthly TBR, but as long as I get some reading done, I guess that’s still a win right?!?!?

WWW Wednesday which is a weekly segment hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

Just answer these three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m slowly getting burned out, not from reading, but just starting to do a lot of things again and we are in the process of decluttering. I’m fighting to keep my lead on my Goodreads Challenge, but I’m still 1 book ahead and should be back to 2-3 books by the end of the week – woohoo!

So, since last week, I managed to finish four books – Courting Carlyn by Melissa Chambers, One Hundred Promises by Kelly Collins, The Gathering by Bernadette Giacomazzo and  Accidentally in Love with the Pilot by Teri Anne Stanley. You can click the titles to read my reviews for these book except for Accidentally which I’m currently working on and won’t be posted until later in the week.

I’m currently reading Surviving Adam Meade by Shannon Klare and so far, I’m enjoying it.

Next, I plan on rereading To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before  (before the movie),  P.S. I Still Love You and finally reading Always and Forever Lara Jean by Jenny Han. I’m hoping to finish rereading TATBILB before I watch the movie this Friday and binging the rest so I can finally say I finished the series. LOL.

I’m also planning on reading Blood Cure by K.A. Linde. I might add another one, but I’m still undecided. I’m not feeling fantasy or anything too heavy, so it’s probably going to be another light contemporary and most likely from my Netgalley TBR.

Well, that’s it for my WWW Wednesday.

What’s on your WWW Wednesday? Have you read any of these books? Leave your comments and links to your post so I can check it out!

Have a lovely day everyone!!!
