The Netgalley Tag

netgalleytag

Hello lovelies! So I’m slowly catching up with my Netgalley TBR, but I’m still quite behind. I probably should focus on finishing some of my reviews, but I’m just not in the mood. Been browsing blogs and then I saw The Netgalley Tag over at Danielle’s blog, theintrovertedbooknerd. Maybe the universe is telling me something or whatever. Anyway, I wasn’t tagged to do this, but it looked fun so I thought I’d give it a try.

RULES

  1. Link back to the tag’s creator: Kourtni at Kourtni Reads.
  2. Thank and link back to the person who tagged you.
  3. Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
  4. Tag a few people to do this too!

AUTO-APPROVED:

Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they are about?

I actually have a few, but anything by Kasie West. I love all her books so every time I see a new book being released, I don’t even read the synopsis anymore…I just add it on my TBR/wishlist.

REQUEST:

What makes you want to request a book on NetGalley?

Definitely the synopsis. If it’s something I think I would enjoy, then I request.

FEEDBACK RATIO:

Do you review every book you read? If not, how do you decide what books to review?

Yes I do review every book I read. I’m kind of behind right now, but I’m slowly making progress.

BADGES:

If you could create one badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?

Totally stealing Danielle’s idea and go with Most Requested Galleys. There are just so many books I want to read and every time I see a book that looks interesting, I just request without thinking about the ones that’s been in my dashboard for more than 2 months…What can I say, I’m a request-addict!

WISH FOR IT:

What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?

Renegades by Marissa Meyer! I doubt I’ll get approved since I’m pretty behind and my ratio is only at 42% right now.

2017 NETGALLEY CHALLENGE:

What was the last book that you received as an ARC that you reviewed? If you’ve never received an ARC, what’s the last book you reviewed?

A Messy, Beautiful Life by Sara Jade Alan. I absolutely love that book. Check out my review HERE.

I TAG:

Hanna @hannabananareads

Latanya @craftyscribbles

Jenn @boundtowriting

Macy @cantstopwontstopbooks

Michelle @firstbooklove

Kathryn @nosestuckinabookblog

And YOU! If you’ve gone this far, then I TAG you too!

With a book in her bag and a switchblade in her pocket, Rebel’s been thieving her way through life while hoping for a cure to fix her ailing heart.
But when the bejeweled vase she just tried to hawk turns out to be a jinni’s vessel, Rebel gets lost to her world and dragged within another. Now every magical being in the city wants the vase for himself.
Thrust into a game of cat and mouse in a world she never knew existed, Rebel must use her uncanny skills to find a way to free Anjeline the Wishmaker.
But wishes have consequences. And contracts. Anjeline’s freedom could unravel a love like Rebel has never known, or it could come at the cost of Rebel’s heart…

For today’s TBR Thursdays, I’m featuring a book that’s been sitting on my TBR for a very long time. The Wishing Heart by J.C. Welker sounds really fascinating and when I received my copy, I was really excited to start it. I mean there’s jinnis, thieves, magical being, and romance. But I’ve been playing catch up with my TBR and every time I feel like I’m making some progress, something else happens. I feel like I’m a broken record saying this over and over, but I never expected to get approved for so many Netgalley ARCs. Sooo… I’m making a plan and avoiding making anymore requests until I finish more than half of TBR. With that being said, I’m definitely starting this beauty this weekend!
