Author Bio:

Nadia is a wanderer, lover of fantasy, romance, action, magic, and mystery. When she’s not writing, she’s casting spells on her husband and thinking up ways to bring more love and light to her family. The proud mother of two kids, she’s also the owner of a lovable dog and an ornery cat. If you like her stories, please feel free to visit her on Facebook where she hangs out sporadically or drop her an email.

Logan Keys says she’s not so much a writer as she is a soothsayer and preparer for those who are still blissfully unaware. Her stories aren’t dystopian but rather a warning for the next generation. When she’s not writing zombies, vampires, superheroes, and robots, she’s fighting against government over-reach and oligarchy using military tactics mixed with a little bit of poetry.

Logan’s currently half way to Japan working on her new voyage (hint hint) into fantasy, but she’s still “keeping it real” and writing futuristic sci-fi on the daily.

Saving imaginary planets one story at a time she says, “My words are my riot.”

January 2018 Wrap-Up

wrapup

Hi loves! How was your January reading month? Mines wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t that bad either. I planned on reading at least 10 books, but managed to only finish 6. Considering I started a week late and had all these other personal stuff, I honestly think I did okay. I’m 3 books behind my Goodreads Challenge, but I plan on catching up this weekend. So without further ado, let’s take a look at the books I read this month.

To read my full review, just click the title of the book.

Pumpkin Spice Secrets by Hillary Homzie

3.75 ROUND TO 4 ★ – LIGHTHEARTED, CHARMING AND DELICIOUSLY FUN

34570463

Pumpkin Spice Secrets by Hillary Homzie is a deliciously fun middle grade story about first crushes, friendship and self-discovery. At first, I had a difficult time getting into this book, but I surprisingly had a change of heart and ended up really liking it. If I had been a tween reading this book, there’s no doubt in my mind that I would fall head over heels in love.

Pretty Dead Girls by Monica Murphy

4 ★ – ENTERTAINING AND ADDICTIVE

Another terrific book from Entangled Teen! With great writing and a fascinating storyline, Pretty Dead Girls by Monica Murphy had me hooked from the very first page. It’s entertaining, addictive, and just so much fun.

Love Between Enemies by Molly E. Lee

3.75 – 4 ★ – FUN AND ADORABLE

At this point, it’s definitely safe to say that I have a weakness for Entangled Teen Crush books. They’re incredibly cute, satisfyingly sweet, and  so much fun. Love Between Enemies by Molly E. Lee was no exception and surely made me swoon.  This book was a quick and adorable read that you could enjoy in one sitting. I may have had a few issues and the ending did feel a bit rushed, but overall, the story was filled with fun, drama, and swoon — all the things I enjoy and love in a YA romance.

Deadly Sweet by Lola Dodge

4 ★ – Magically delicious and Scrumptiously Entertaining

I had such a wonderful time reading this book. With plenty of magic, adventure, and spell-binding baked treats, Deadly Sweet is satisfyingly entertaining and deliciously fun. l’m absolutely excited to find out what happens next in this wicked series.

Right Kiss Wrong Guy by Natalie Decker

3.75 – 4 ★ – ADORABLE AND POSITIVELY ENTERTAINING

righkisswrongguy

This book was so much fun to read. I finished in less than 24 hours and found it positively entertaining. There were plenty of hilarious scenes, teenage angst, and swoontastic moments. If you’re in the mood for something lighthearted and adorable, then you need to have Right Kiss Wrong Guy in your TBR!

The Dating Debate by Chris Cannon

5 ★ – Incredibly Adorable and Swoony
