aboutbook

Lose yourself to the dark and glamorous underbelly of the Upper East Side in USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde’s new billionaire romance Cruel Trilogy.

She was supposed to be a one night stand.

A way to sate my sexual appetite.

I let her glimpse the man I am. The face that I hide behind my carefully cultivated life.

But she ripped open that divide–and there’s no going back.

Now, she’s here. In my city.

I don’t care that I’m Manhattan royalty and she’s the help.

Only that she’s living in my summer home. With me.

And I want more.

mythoughtsDeliciously Addictive, Satisfyingly Swoony and Undeniably Sexy

Be still my beating heart!!!

I am absolutely convinced that K.A. Linde can do no wrong when it comes to romance.  I’ve enjoyed everything I read from her and always find myself incredibly intrigued with her characters and stories. Cruel Money was no exception and had me flippng through the pages and wanting more.

This book was so cruel in the best possible way. The moment I started reading, I knew I wouldn’t be able to stop until I finished. That’s just how amazingly addictive Linde’s stories can be. The writing was captivating, engaging and so easy to read. The plot was wildly entertaining and kept me intrigued the entire time. From the gossip girl vibes, the angst, the crazy drama, the swoons, the sweet moments, and the steam, this book had me hooked. I also enjoyed the setting of the story and the glitz and glamour was fun too. Penn and Natalie were strong and really great leads and I could not get enough of those two. They’re so adorable and totally charmed their way into my heart. The “crew” weren’t always likable, but so interesting and ridiculously fun. And the FEELS… so utterly juicy and delicious.

Penn and Natalie are my new favorite OTP!! Their chemistry was palpable and wonderfully swoony. It was so fun to watch them together — from their bantering, flirting, kissing, and all the sexy moments. They had a past that both affected them so seeing their relationship progress was so heartwarming. Even their arguments were fun and so cute. I was definitely rooting for them to have their HEA and honestly really loved their story.

Oh and I just have to say that I also really love Totle.

With all the lies, secrets, backstabbing, debauchery fun, drama, and adorable romance, Cruel Money was an interestingly fun and fantastic read. It’s delectably intriguing with the perfect blend humor, swoons and heart. It left me wanting more and I just can’t wait to see what happens next and what kind of crazy fun it’ll be.

If you love stories that are deliciously addictive, satisfying swoony and so undeniably sexy, then this book is for you. Just imagine all the FEELS. I’m positive Cruel Money will have you hooked until the very end!

I received an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher and author through the Inkslinger Blogger Program in exchange for a fair and honest review. All thoughts, swoons, and feels are my own.

aboutbook

Two Thousand Years
M. Dalto
(The Empire Saga #1)
Publication date: December 11th 2018
Genres: Fantasy, New Adult

Two thousand years ago, the Prophecy of Fire and Light foretold the coming of the Queen Empress who would lead the Empire into a time of peace and tranquility. But instead of the coming of a prosperous world, a forbidden love for the Empress waged a war that ravaged the land, creating a chasm between the factions, raising the death toll of innocent lives until the final, bloody battle.

Centuries later, Alexandra, a twenty-two-year-old barista living in Boston, is taken to an unfamiliar realm of mystery and magic where her life is threatened by Reylor, its banished Lord Steward. She crosses paths with Treyan, the arrogant and seductive Crown Prince of the Empire, and together they discover how their lives, and their love, are so intricately intertwined by a Prophecy set in motion so many years ago.

Alex, now the predestined Queen Empress Alexstrayna, whose arrival was foretold by the Annals of the Empire, controls the fate of her new home as war rages between the Crown Prince and Lord Steward. Either choice could tear her world apart as she attempts to keep the Empire’s torrid history from repeating itself. In a realm where betrayal and revenge will be as crucial to her survival as love and honor, Alex must discover whether it is her choice – or her fate – that determines how she survives the Empire’s rising conflicts.

An Addictive and Magically Entertaining Tale that Captured My Heart

4halfhearts

An addictive and magically entertaining read, Two Thousand Years by M. Dalto had me glued to the pages from the very beginning and left me wanting more in the end.

I’m over the moon in love with this book and had so much fun. Aside from some minor hiccups here and there, I thought Dalto created a uniquely alluring world, a thrilling adventure, and fantastic characters that not only captured my interest, but also my heart. Her writing style was effortlessly intriguing and engaging. The plot was fast-paced and delightfully entertaining. It had the perfect mix of suspense, action, drama, twists, and humor that had me relentlessly flipping through the pages. The characters were interesting and perfectly flawed. They did their fair share of annoying me, but overall I really did like Alex and Treyan and yes even the villain Reylor. I also really liked the romance. Even if there were a few cheesy moments, I still thought it was utterly swoony and cute. Okay, some parts did make me cringe a little, but most were definitely sweet and adorable. As for the ending, well I can’t say I liked it cause it totally crushed my heart, but it absolutely had me feeling excited about what will what happen next.

Overall, Two Thousand Years was such a joy to read. I was fascinated by the concept of the story, engrossed in the action and drama, and completely smitten with the romance that I didn’t even realize how late I stayed up reading. I enjoyed the world-building, the fantastic plot, the lovable characters, the humor and the feels. It truly was a fun and entertaining book and I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat.

I received an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher and Xpresso Book Tours in exchange for a fair and honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
