4.25 – A Wonderfully Charming, Positively Compelling and Deeply Moving Conclusion!

A sweet and deeply moving conclusion to an amazing and breathtaking story about losing someone, healing, taking risks, and finding love again. The Wright One had it all – humor, grief, steam, angst, drama, romance, and heart… SO MUCH HEART! K.A. Linde is exceptionally talented in writing stories that have ALL the FEELS and once again, she had me completely captivated and incredibly smitten.

After that heart-wrenching cliffhanger in The Wright Love, I was absolutely dying to know what would happen next between Sutton and David. I really wanted them to work things out and have their HEA. They both had been through so much and deserved all the love and happiness.

I’m so glad I didn’t have to wait too long for this and so satisfyingly thrilled with how K.A. Linde ended Sutton and David’s story. The FEELS with this one…SO DAMN AMAZING! My heart ached and I FELT SO MUCH for both Sutton and David — their pain, their fears, their attraction, their guilt, their love… ALL of that and more! The chemistry between them was so palpable, realistic and incredibly swoony! I was utterly addicted and just couldn’t get enough.

The writing was emotional, genuine, relatable and so heartfelt. The plot was filled with adorable relationships, sexy moments, heartbreaking scenes, and fun surprises and twists. I loved getting to know David and learning more about his past. He’s definitely a keeper in my eyes and an absolutely lovable book boyfriend. I thought Sutton’s growth was beautifully developed and sincerely moving. I didn’t always agree with her actions, but Sutton’s strength and determination had me rooting for her the entire time. There were so many things that was done so Wright in this book and I enjoyed every single moment I spent with Sutton and David.

This was such a wonderfully charming, amazingly affecting, and positively compelling story that melted my heart and touched my soul. There were definitely moments of sadness and pain, but also moments filled with so much laughter, passion, love, strength, and hope. My heart is brimming with so much warmth and happiness that I just can’t stop smiling. I’m absolutely enamored with K.A. Linde’s gorgeous writing and cannot wait to read more of her books!

(I have Blood Match next on my TBR for a blog tour and I’m so bloody excited to start that one!)

I received an advance reader copy of this book from Inkslinger Blogger Program and K.A. Linde in exchange for a fair and honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I cracked open the book and sniffed it. Sniffing books was so satisfying and albeit weird, but if you were a book lover, you did it. Sitting back and getting comfortable I began reading the first page. It was hard not to travel through a book when I read it. It was entirely possible to travel through books that were fiction, once I started my duty as a Librarian. When I did, it felt like the book was now a movie playing live just for me. Everything was in front of me, close enough to touch, but you knew you shouldn’t. I didn’t care for it that way, so I usually removed my bracelet and read, the old-fashioned way. But today, I kept it on to practice my skills at reading without moving through the book. That required more focus, but it was important to learn.

A few minutes into the book I heard a sound that made me stop reading and listen. It sounded like music, but there was no music down here, and with the thick flooring above me it was impossible to hear anything from the library.

There it was again, faint but still loud enough for me to pick up on. Listening carefully, I realized it was bagpipes. I put the book down and got up to investigate the sound. It wasn’t coming from outside, so I stopped and listened with my eyes closed. It was in the room somewhere. Not my cell phone, I had checked that. When I got close to where we hid the book I was currently traveling through, the sound got louder and louder. I pulled it free from its hiding spot and it was vibrating with the sound of Scottish bagpipes playing a melodious tune.

Absentmindedly opening the book, I turned to the page I was last on, to see what the devil was going on. Before I knew it, I was being pulled into the book, even as I tried to hold onto the present time, I realized it was hopeless. I was going in whether I wanted to or not.

I am Southern California native, now living in New Jersey! How did that happen? I am married and have  two beautiful little girls who love to read just like Mommy. I have had a passion for books since I was a little girl and an imagination for just as long. I hope my books can inspire others to read and to write too.
