Cover Reveal

Happy Friday Lovelies!!! It’s Labor Day Monday so that means I have a 3-day weekend and I get off work a little early today. I’m also going to Las Vegas so that should be fun. Anyway, today I’ll be doing a cover reveal for one of my favorite sci-fi series.

Starstruck is one of my top reads this year. It’s so unique, positively entertaining, and a laugh out loud sci-fi adventure! I’ve never read anything quite like it, so I was beyond ecstatic to have the opportunity to beta read Alienation for Sarah. I don’t want to give too much away, but Alienation is AHMAZING!!! It totally made me laugh multiple times. So quirky, and fun, and exciting!!  Seriously, you don’t want to skip this fabulous series. Good thing Alienation doesn’t come out until October 24, 2017, so you have time to catch up.

Read my full review for Starstruck HERE.

Now how about we take a look at the cover for Alienation!

Isn’t that cover just so gorgeous!?!? I’m sooo in love with it!! So pretty and I can’t stop staring. Would you like to see the entire thing? Of course you do, but first here’s the synopsis…

Sally Webber’s dream is coming true: Zander is back and taking her out for a night on the town–on a planet hundreds of light years away from Earth.
But when an accident separates her from her alien tour guide, she’s thrown into the seedy underbelly of an insane city where nothing is as it seems. Suddenly lost and desperate to get back home, Sally is willing to do anything to get out, even if it means accepting spontaneous marriage proposals, crashing some fancy parties, or joining what appears to be the space mob.
All she wanted was some decent interstellar pizza, but now it might be the end of the world as evil nanobots and an out of control AI try to take the universe by force, and the only one who can stop them is missing in action. Sally has no choice but to try to stop them herself–if she can stay alive that long.

Alienation-Large

Absolutely Breathtaking!!!

71lWyrWYtAL._UX250_ ABOUT THE AUTHOR

S.E. Anderson can’t ever tell you where she’s from. Not because she doesn’t want to, but because it inevitably leads to a confusing conversation where she goes over where she was born (England) where she grew up (France) and where her family is from (USA) and it tends to make things very complicated.

She’s lived pretty much her entire life in the South of France, except for a brief stint where she moved to Washington DC, or the eighty years she spent as a queen of Narnia before coming back home five minutes after she had left. Currently, she goes to university in Marseille, where she’s starting her masters of Astrophysics.

When she’s not writing, or trying to science, she’s either reading, designing, crafting, or attempting to speak with various woodland creatures in an attempt to get them to do household chores for her.  She could also be gaming, or pretending she’s not watching anything on Netflix.

July Wrap-Up

Hello lovelies and Happy first day of August. So July was a really good reading month for me considering I was extremely busy with work. I was able to read 8 books and ended up really enjoying them all. I try to pick books I know I’ll like, so for the most part it’s very rare for me DNF or dislike a book. I do take a break from a book/genre every now and then. Not because I don’t like it or anything, but I’m kind of a mood reader. Anyway, without further ado, here are the books I got through in July!

Kissing Max Holden by Katy Upperman

★★★★★ – DELICIOUS, SWOONY AND SO FULL OF HEART!

The plot is so well written, realistic and deeply moving. Katy Upperman does such a great job delivering an unforgettable heart-wrenching story about first love, heartbreak, tragedy, forgiveness and hope. I seriously can’t recommend this book enough.

Starstruck by S.E. Anderson

★★★★ 3/4 – QUIRKY, OUTRAGEOUS AND FUN

IMG_5671

S.E. Anderson, without a doubt, knows what she’s doing. She lures you in with an intriguing premise, sends you on a fabulous out of this world adventure, messes with your mind just a little (okay…. maybe a lot), and then zoom… she leaves you with so many unanswered questions you’ll be ridiculously anxious for the next installment. Starstruck is definitely one of my favorite reads this summer.

Lake of Destiny (Celtic Legend #1) by Martina Boone

★★★★★ – SWEET, MAGICAL, AND HEARTWARMING

Martina Boone’s gorgeous storytelling enthralled me from start to finish. The plot is captivating, whimsical, and full of surprises that kept me turning the pages. It made me smile like a dork, swoon a wee bit crazy and tug at my heart.

Lucky in Love by Kasie West

★★★★ 1/2 – FUN, SWEET AND SUPER CUTE

IMG_5644

While not my favorite (that spot goes to P.S. I Like You and On the Fence), this book is fun and as cute as can be that I had such a difficult time putting it down. There’s humor, a bit of mystery, some drama, great friendships, lessons to be learned and a swoony romance. I love Kasie West’s writing style and her stories always make me feel so darn happy.

The Third Kiss (Love’s Mortal Coil #1)

★★★★ 1/2 – Fun Swoony Romance with a Paranormal Twist

thethirdkiss

The writing in this book is so creative, vibrant and compelling. The characters are lovable and relatable. The drama, romance, mystery, plot twists, and the humor made this story wickedly awesome. I’m so excited for the sequel!

The Tiger’s Watch (Ashes of Gold #1) by Julia Ember

★★★★★ – LOVED this book! Review to come.
