WWW Wednesdays

wwwwednesday

Shhh… I know it’s Thursday, but I was so busy yesterday that I didn’t have time to post mines.

WWW Wednesday which is a weekly segment hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

Just answer these three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

While I have not finished reading anything since last week, I am currently reading 3 books. I’m making progress with Pen and Xander by Laekan Zea Kem and I’m really enjoying the story. The plot is really interesting and I like the characters a lot. The Key to Everything by Paula Stokes is really fun and adorable. And the last book I’m reading is Right Kiss Wrong Guy by Natalie Decker which is super cute. I’m really excited to finish all of these books and just gush about them. As of right now, they’re all 4-5 stars for me.

Next, I plan on reading What the Valley Knows by Heather Christie and Nyxia by Scott Reintgen. Nyxia was one of the first books that got approved on my Netgalley, but after a week… I had about 10 others that I decided to read the ones I really wanted and somehow this got buried down the list. But since I got a few recommendations from some of you, I’m bumping it up and finally reading it!

What’s on your WWW Wednesday? Any thoughts about these books?  Leave a comment down below. I’d love to hear from you.

Goodreads Monday

goodreadsmondays

Happy Monday Loves! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Time for another Goodreads Monday which is a weekly meme by Lauren’s Page Turners’ blog!

To participate, just choose a random book from your Goodreads TBR and show it off. For this meme, I’ll be focusing on a random book that I don’t own (hardcopy or ebooks) on my Goodreads “want-to-read” page.

A story about friendship, survival and finding your voice

Growing up, Mallory Dodge learned that the best way to survive was to say nothing. And even though it’s been four years since her nightmare ended, she’s beginning to worry that the fear that holds her back will last a lifetime. Now, after years of homeschooling, Mallory must face a new milestone—spending her senior year at a public high school. But she never imagined she’d run into Rider Stark, the friend and protector she hasn’t seen since childhood, on her very first day.

It doesn’t take long for Mallory to realize that the connection she shared with Rider never really faded. Yet soon it becomes apparent that she’s not the only one grappling with lingering scars from the past. And as she watches Rider’s life spiral out of control, Mallory must make a choice between staying silent and speaking out—for the people she loves, the life she wants and the truths that need to be heard.

I’m completely in love with Jennifer’s Wait for You series (written under her name J. Lynn), so I’ve been adding all her books on my Goodreads. This book is just one of the many I have on my TBR… I have quite a long list since I haven’t read anything other than that series.

Have you read this book? What did you think? Are you a fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout? Which one is you favorite book/series? Let me know in the comments!

Have a fantastic week and happy reading!
