Top Ten Tuesday – Travel the World in Books

Hello lovely bookworms! It’s time for another segment of Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and has been moved to That Artsy Reader Girl since January 16, 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is Books Taking Place in Another Country. I don’t know about you, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE traveling. I’ve been to more than 10 countries and my favorite places so far are Amsterdam, Switzerland, and Peru, but I’ve been dreaming about going to Scotland, Greece, Italy, and Iceland for the longest time. I really wish I can travel more often cause there are so many beautiful countries I want to visit, but traveling in real life can get very expensive. That’s why I love reading books that take me to wonderful settings that are just beautiful! Today, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite books that transported me to magical and breathtaking places and a few I definitely want to check out soon.

Warcross

Marie Lu

  • Signed Hardcover of Warcross by Marie Lu and a matching pin
  • Exclusive Book Queen Key Chain
  • Hogwarts House Crest Coasters (OMG IT’S SO GORGEOUS!)
  • Sticker in honor of Banned Books Week (not pictured)

Marie Lu is one of my favorite authors and Warcross has been on top of my most anticipated reads. So naturally, I preordered the book. I know with having two book subscriptions I may get a book I already have. I really don’t mind it at all. I do buy more than one copy of books every once in a while. Barnes and Noble and Target sometimes have their own special editions with different extras so I sometimes would buy those. Plus, it’s nice to have an extra copy anyway. One mainly for reading and for lending and the other just for my collection. Soo yes, I love having two copies of Warcross. The Hogwarts coasters are just sooo pretty!!! I probably won’t ever use them except for props in photos. Oh and the keychain is really nice too and I can’t wait to use it.

In case you didn’t know, Uppercasebox has a Loyalty Points Program which can be redeemed for more bookish items, free shipping or a free month of Uppercasebox. So basically you get rewarded with more awesomeness!!!

IF YOU’D LIKE TO RECEIVE SEPTEMBER’S BOX, DON’T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE ON UPPERCASEBOX.
