synopsis

How do you date your best friend’s sister? Easy.

Step one: Pretend you want her to set you up with someone else. That will bring the two of you closer.

Step two: Go on date with lots of random women, proceed to get stupid drunk and talk about your best friend’s sister, thus gaining the courage to finally make a move.

Step three: Randomly show up at her apartment and confess your love. Women love that, right?

It all seemed so simple. A fool-proof three step process that will guarantee the love of you life to fall madly in love with you.

At least–that’s what I thought was going to happen. But my attempts to win over Julia Westin backfired in more ways than I can count. The thing about Julia? She’s smart–really smart–and her wicked gaze cuts through all the charm I’ve tried slinging her way. She’s not interested in games, my gifts, or my stories. She might want me too; but she’s not giving in that easy…

A Deliciously Charming, Wonderfully Witty, & Satisfyingly Entertaining Romance

4halfhearts

What a fun guilty pleasure read! Deliciously charming, witty and entertaining, The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister had one of the yummiest mix of steam, spice and sweetness that stole my heart from the very beginning and had me completely hooked.

I’ve promoted a few of Meghan Quinn’s books before and added some on my TBR. I don’t why it took me SO LONG to actually read one, but I absolutely loved this book and her writing so I can honestly say that Quinn just made it to My Favorite New to Me Authors 2019. This book was incredibly amusing, sexy, adorable, hilarious, and just really fun! Definitely an awesome book to start the new year.

The writing was fantastic! It was easy to read and irresistibly seductive in the best way possible. With all the fun bantering, adorable flirting, amazing friendships, and the steamy and sweet moments, the storyline definitely made my heart melt and had me entertained the entire time. The characters were great and I really enjoyed getting to know them. I thought they were all so darn lovable, funny, and relatable. Okay, so Julia was frustrating for the most part and yes I wanted to strangle her on so many occasions, but I could understand why she acted the way she did. The romance and chemistry between Julia and Bram was swoontabulous and I absolutely loved them together. The conclusion didn’t feel rushed and everything played out so wonderfully with a really heartwarming HEA ending.

There were so many things I loved about this book. The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister was utterly a swoontastic, adorkable, and sexy read. I enjoyed the seductive writing, the quirky and relatable characters, the romance and bromance, the playful bantering and flirting, the amazing friendships and relationships, the scrumptious steamy scenes, and the light drama that had me wiping away tears a few times.

Would I recommend this book?!? ABSOLUTELY! So cancel your plans, grab a copy,  get comfy in bed with your favorite reading snacks, and maybe have a tissue box on hand just in case you’re a big softy and cry baby like me.

I recevied an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher, Insklinger and the author in exchange for a fair and honest review. All swoons, thoughts, and opinions are my own.
