Top Ten Tuesday – Never Ever Getting Back Together

toptentuesdays

Hello fellow bookworms!

It’s time for another segment of Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and has been moved to That Artsy Reader Girl since January 16, 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is Books I LOVED BUT WILL NEVER REREAD AGAIN. This one wasn’t difficult at all since I read a lot and about 95% of the time, I really enjoy the books I choose. Maybe I’m just easily entertained or something… Anyway, for this post, I picked 10 books/series I REALLY LOVED, BUT WILL NEVER EVER GET BACK TO REREADING THEM AGAIN… Plus, even if a part of me wants to reread them someday when I’m retired or something, I’m sure I’ll still have SO MANY BOOKS unread on my shelves and EVEN MORE BOOKS coming out that I would like to read.

Love Unscripted and Love Unrehearsed by Tina Reber – I absolutely loved this series and have been waiting for the third book in what seems like forever. I remember even telling my best friend to read this book because it was so much fun. It’s been a while since then and at this point, I’m no longer interested in rereading these books.

hickville

Hickville Redemption by Mary Karlik – This book started out a bit slow for me, but I ended up really loving the story. There’s plenty of intrigue, drama, mystery and excitement.  However, as much as I enjoyed this story and playing detective, I just don’t think I’ll ever reread it again. I will probably check out other books by this author if and when something catches my attention.

staywithme

Stay With Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout – I LOVE Wait For You and Cam and Avery, and the other books were really fun to read, but I don’t think I’ll ever reread them. I’ll definitely reread the first two books since that’s what made me fall in love with this series, but yeah I think I’ll be okay without the others. And this one, was my least favorite.

neverstopfalling

Never Stop Falling by Ashley Drew – This book made me laugh, cry, and broke my heart, but it was absolutely amazing. I remember really enjoying the story, the characters and the writing. I really LOVED this book and would definitely recommend it to fans of romance, but it’s not a book I’m drawn to reread again. There are way too many books to read and just not enough time.

Menace and Grievious by J.M. Darhower – I wasn’t so sure about this duology at first, but when I finished, I had no words to explain how I was feeling. I’ve been reading a few dark/erotic romances lately, but I’m still very picky. Sometimes, when it’s just too much, I stop. But this one had a good story and the ending was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. But, I don’t think I can reread these over again since there were a lot of things that was difficult for me to get through. I did really enjoy these enough that I will be checking out other books by this author. If you’re into dark romances and anti-heros, then do pick this up. Lorenzo will make your heart go crazy — but in the best possible way.

blackbird

Black Bird of the Gallows by Meg Kassel – This book was surprisingly good and I loved it! It was dark, eerie, and absolutely enthralling. The writing was amazing and I thought it was a fantastic debut novel. It also reminded me why I love paranormal romances. That being said, I probably won’t be reading again because I have a long list of TBR that I really need to get.

Entangled Teen Crush Books – Okay I’m going to lump these books all together. I LOVE them… I really do. I seriously have an addiction with these books and always have a good time whenever I pick one up. They’re cute, swoony, funny, and quick reads for me. They’re perfect for curing book hangovers and I will read each and everyone if I could. However, they’re not the type of books I find myself rereading. Sure they’re great and fun and always make me smile, but there are so many of them that I rather just read a new one every time.

allthebrightplaces

All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven – This book was AMAZING and I LOVED IT! However, I just don’t think I ever want to put my heart through all the hurt and pain. Knowing what I know about the story, it’s not something I want to reread at this point. Maybe someday in the far away future… maybe…  If you haven’t read this though, you should definitely check it out. The writing is so real and emotional!

Well, that’s the end of my list. I could definitely add another 10 or so and these books aren’t listed in any particular order. I basically went through my Goodreads READ section and just picked 10 books/series I know I don’t want to reread.

What are some books you love, but will never ever reread again? Are any of the ones I picked on your list? Share your post links in the comments so I can check it out.

As always, thanks for stopping by and reading. Hope you enjoyed reading this post! Have a wonderful day loves!!

Top Ten Tuesday – Books I Didn’t Enjoy Because of the Characters

toptentuesdays

Hello fellow bookaholics!!

This week’s topic is Characters I Liked That Were In Books I Didn’t Like. Okay… I SERIOUSLY HAD A REALLY DIFFICULT TIME with this one. I honestly cannot remember any characters I liked from books I didn’t like at all. I also DON’T have a long list of books I DON’T LIKE since I choose to read books I think I might enjoy. Of course there are times when I would sadly DNF or read a book that wasn’t for me. AND, if that’s the case, then I most likely had some issues with the characters… With that being said, for today’s TTT, I decided to share 5 books I Didn’t Enjoy As Much Because The Characters Bothered Me. These books weren’t horrible and there were some good parts in them, but overall, they just didn’t work for me cause I found the characters somewhat annoying, weak, and a bit disappointing.
