Synopsis

How to get over a heartbreak:

Step one: Eat your body weight in brownies.

Step two: Throw yourself into your dreams of becoming a famous writer.

Step three: Beg your (hottie) ex-neighbor to act as your fake boyfriend.

Step four: Skip step three unless you’re ready for some serious fallout.

After being dumped and humiliated over the summer, Cat Turner does what any sane girl would do. She asks bad boy Alex Locke to be her fake boyfriend and show the world (and her editor at the school newspaper) that she’s fine. Problem is, the more time she spends with Alex, the more she risks getting her heart broken. For real this time.

Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book contains a swoony bad boy who will melt your heart, brownies, and witty banter. One, two, or all three might prove addictive…

Review

The Heartbreak Cure by Amanda Ashby is an endearing friends to lovers story that  satisfied my endless cravings for swoony reads. It’s funny, super sweet and so scrumptiously delightful!

In case I don’t say it enough, Entangled Teen Crush books are engaging, utterly captivating, and some of the best reads for curing those long tiring and stressful days. Stories like The Heartbreak Cure always make my heart so full of happy. I even had some good laughs and the butterflies surely had one crazy dancing party.

This book is undeniably funtastic! The writing was amazing and had a nice flow that made it not only easy to read but also very enjoyable. The plot was fast-paced, entertaining, and swoontastic in every way. I loved the characters and thought they were just so adorable. The drama, the angst, and the little mystery certainly kept me intrigued. The romance was insanely sweet with plenty of spine-tingling moments that had me blushing and my heart fluttering. Oh and the other relationships —  so genuine and incredibly heartwarming that without a doubt made this book even more awesome.

I really loved Alex and Cat together. Their chemistry was quite steamy and definitely gave me the feels. Every touch, every kiss, every single moment they shared put a smile on my face. They’re also really amazing individuals who are talented, kind, smart, and caring. Obviously I shipped them from the very beginning and swooned with them throughout the story.

I also really liked Nikki and Parker and thought they were just the cutest. Hopefully,  there will be a book about them. Can’t forget about the relationship between Alex and his grandmother — it’s just the sweetest and totally melted my heart. Honestly, this book is just so full of wonderful friendships and relationships that will leave you with a fuzzy warm feeling.

The Heartbreak Cure  is another fun and charming read from Entangled Teen Crush. There’s amazing friendships, great family dynamics, sweet romances, and characters you can’t help but love. While it is light-hearted, adorable, and cutesy, this book also deals with sensitive issues, important life lessons, and so much more. It truly is a wonderful story about grief, forgiveness, second chances, and love that I strongly recommend you add to your TBR.

Synopsis

Adeluna is a soldier. Five years ago, she helped the magic-rich island of Grace Loray overthrow its oppressor, Argrid, a country ruled by religion. But adjusting to postwar life has not been easy. When an Argridian delegate vanishes during peace talks with Grace Loray’s new Council, Argrid demands brutal justice—but Lu suspects something more dangerous is at work.

Devereux is a pirate. As one of the outlaws called stream raiders who run rampant on Grace Loray, he pirates the island’s magic plants and sells them on the black market. But after Argrid accuses raiders of the diplomat’s abduction, Vex becomes a target. An expert navigator, he agrees to help Lu find the Argridian—but the truth they uncover could be deadlier than any war.

Benat is a heretic. The crown prince of Argrid, he harbors a secret obsession with Grace Loray’s forbidden magic. When Ben’s father, the king, gives him the shocking task of reversing Argrid’s fear of magic, Ben has to decide if one prince can change a devout country—or if he’s building his own pyre.

As conspiracies arise, Lu, Vex, and Ben will have to decide who they really are . . . and what they are willing to become for peace.

This book sounds really fun and thrilling! And Pirates!!! Yup just take my money now please!
