Hello loves!!! So, I saw this fun tag from Kat over at NoseStuckInABook months ago. I had it planned and scheduled, but I never got to it. Actually, I had a lot of “tags” and other stuff I wanted to do, but I didn’t so here I am… trying to do as many as I can before the year ends.
Anyway, this was originally from youtube and created by NEHOMAS2. For this tag, imagine that you’re hosting a dinner party and you can invite any literary character you want. But there’s a catch… You can only choose 10 characters for 10 different categories.
Who will receive an invite for your dinner party?
1. One character who can cook/likes to cook
2. One character who has money to fund the party
3. One character who might cause a scene
4. One character who is funny/amusing
5. One character who is super social/popular
6. One villain
7. One couple – doesn’t have to be romantic
8. One hero/heroine
9. One underappreciated character
10. One character of your own choosing
I’d probably want to host plenty of Literary Dinner Parties just so I can meet all my favorite characters, but I just went with my gut for this one and chose the first character that popped into my head.
1. One character who can cook/likes to cook
Cameron Hamilton from Wait for You by Jennifer Armentrout. He’s sexy, swoony, funny, irresistibly lovable, and he can cook and also bake cookies.
2. One character who has money to fund the party
Christian Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James because why not… Plus, I’d totally love to meet him.
3. One character who might cause a scene
Magnus Bane from The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. He’s definitely a scene stealer, so it would be fun to see what happens if he comes to my dinner party.
4. One character who is funny/amusing
Zander from the Starstruck Saga by S.E. Anderson. That series is pretty hilarious too and never fails to make me laugh.
5. One character who is super social/popular
Maxon Schreave from The Selection series by Kiera Cass. He’s a prince, he’s royal, he’s handsome, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s also romantic, caring, and funny too.
6. One villain
Queen Levana from the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. I find her terrifyingly intriguing so I think it’ll be interesting/fun to have her there.
7. One couple – doesn’t have to be romantic (but who are we kidding)
Peter K. and Lara Jean Covey from The All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series by Jenny Han because they are too adorable not to include in this dinner party.
8. One hero/heroine
Adelina Amouteru from The Young Elites series by Marie Lu because she’s complicated, intriguing, awesome, and not your typical heroine.
9. One underappreciated character
Veronica Welling from the Doon Series by Loria Langdon and Carey Corp. Veronica is a kick ass heroine with plenty of exciting stories to share at the dinner party.
10. One character of your own choosing
Aaron Warner from The Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. It’s Warner… I don’t think I need to explain why he needs to be there.
