Today is just practice.

Noemi wants to pray like the other soldiers she hears around her. The soft ebb and swell of their whispers sounds like waves against the short. Zero-G even makes it look as if they’re underwater — their hair fanning out from their heads, their booted feet swaying out from their launch harnesses as if caught by the tide. Only the dark star field outside the few small windows reveals how far they are from home.

This book has been on my TBR for almost a year now and I still haven’t gotten to it. I remember thinking the premise sounded really intriguing and so much fun. Interstellar war, thrilling space adventure, and enemies to lovers stories — Yup, I’m totally on board. Guess, it’s taking me quite a long while to actually jump on the ship. BUT, that may just change. Last week, a surprise book mail came and I received an ARC of the sequel, Defy the Worlds!! It was totally unexpected and I didn’t even know how I got it, but I’m sooooo happy and excited! Hoping to binge this really really soon.

I desperately wanted a broken heart. I wanted to experience that infamous intensity of emotion that had inspired beautiful prose since the beginning of time. I wanted a beauty and the tragedy of it all. I wanted to feel it because I loved every single part of being alive. I wanted the absolute confirmation of humanity and life in which only an emotion as powerful as heartbreak could validate.

In order for a heart to break, of course, there first must be love. And ultimately, that’s what I wanted.

This book sounds so incredibly swoony and super cute. Those few lines already has me completely intrigued about what the story is going to be. I absolutely cannot wait when I finally get to this. A Soul Full of Stars is written by one of my dear blogger friends, Bree Lauren,  over at In Love & Words. When I found out she wrote a book and I read the little blurb, I knew it would be something I’d LOVE so I immediately went to Amazon to buy my copy. Hopefully, I can cuddle with this pretty next month. I have quite a few more books I need to read for blog tours and reviews.

If you’re not following BREE just yet, then go right now and check out her gorgeous blog. She writes amazing reviews and I always end up adding plenty books on my never-ending TBR because of her. LOL
