Top Ten Tuesday – Favorite OTPs

toptentuesdays

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and has been moved to That Artsy Reader Girl since January 16, 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic for Top Ten Tuesday is a Love Freebie. Because I’m such a hopeless romantic, I decided to do 2 TTT post today. I’ve already featured some of my favorite love stories in my earlier post for Top Ten Favorite Romance Books. Now, I’ want to share with you some of my FAVORITE OTPS.

shatterme

Juliette and Warner from the Shatter Me Series by Tahereh Mafi – From the very beginning, there was something about Warner that really intrigued me and I think Juliette must have felt the same way… The attraction and chemistry between them was incredibly steamy and so swoony. I remember how my heart would race so fast during plenty of their scenes.

cress

Thorne and Cress from the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer – I absolutely love these two. They’re so witty, funny and adorable. Their pairing is so cute and fun. I laughed so much reading about them and their interactions will just make you swoon!

theone

Maxon and America from the Selection Series by Keira Cass – I have to admit… it took me a while to warm of to this OTP, but by the end of the series, I was definitely and wholeheartedly shipping them. I guess the reason why I didn’t ship them right away was because America frustrated me quite a bit in book one and two. That being said, these two still had some of the swooniest and sweetest interactions, so I had to include them in this list.

awalktoremember

Jamie and Landon from A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks – What can I say… these two are just one of the sweetest and loveliest couples.  Sooo many scenes made me awww, swoon, smile, laugh, cry, and fall in love. Their love story will always and forever be in my heart.

hopeless

Holder and Sky from Hopeless by Colleen Hoover – Another pairing that completely stole my heart! Holder and Sky are just so adorable together. I certainly fell hard for the both of them and could not get enough. Oh and their chemistry was sweet and super swoony.

toalltheboys1

Peter and Lara Jean from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Series by Jenny Han – These two are just so darn cute and adorable together. I loved their pairing and their chemistry was definitely swoony. They made me laugh, and smile, and have plenty of aww moments. Definitely one of the sweetest pairings in YA contemporary romances.

waitforyou

Cam and Avery from Wait for You Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout – OMG these two are just so darn swoony and hilarious. I had such a blast with their scenes and laughed plenty of times. As you can tell, there is certainly a theme when it comes to my OTPs. I love pairings that are not only cute or adorable or swoony, but also incredible amusing and funny.

thenotebook

Noah and Allie from The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks – Of course I have to include these two! When I think about one of the most romantic and amazing love stories, I always remember Noah and Allie. Both coming from different worlds, but finding love in each other. Despite being separated for years, they somehow find their way back together. . This pairing seriously tugs at my heartstrings.

novainloss

Felix and Astra from No Ordinary Stars by M.C. Frank –  Felix and Astra had nothing in common. There was no insta-love and it definitely took a while for them to get from enemies to acquaintances to friends to lovers. That being said, I completely shipped them from the very beginning and could not wait to see how their relationship would turn out. I liked that they challenged each other to become better versions of who they were and always spoke the truth. They had some sweet moments and plenty of their scenes made me laugh.

legend

June and Day from the Legend Series by Marie Lu –  Here’s another amazing couple that has a special place in my heart. June and Day came from different sides, but ended up working together to make their world a better place. Their relationship was definitely not an easy one and my heart broke a few times, but they surely had me rooting for them throughout the entire series.

Well, those are some of my Favorite OTPs. What are some of yours? Comment down below and don’t forget to leave the link to your TTT post so I can check it out!

The only person who can help him is Sajda, who has been enslaved by Maqbara’s warden since she was a child, and whose guarded demeanor and powerful right hook keep the prisoners in check. Working with Sajda might be the only way Javan can escape alive — but she has dangerous secrets.

When the Vasquez siblings’ father left, it seemed nothing could remedy the absence in their lives . . . until a shimmering figure named Luz appeared in the canyon behind their house.

Luz filled the void. He shot hoops with seventeen-year-old Hank’s hands. He showed fourteen-year-old Ana cinematic beauty behind her eyelids. He spoke kindly to eight-year-old Milo. But then Luz left, too, and he took something from each of them. As a new school year begins, Ana, Hank, and Milo must carry on as if an alien presence never altered them. But how can they ever feel close to other people again when Luz changed everything about how they see the world and themselves?

In an imaginative and heartfelt exploration of human—and non-human—nature, Leah Thomas champions the unyielding bonds between family and true friends.
