What happens when the bad boy takes over the school advice column?
The last thing Emerick should be doing is giving anyone advice. His dad’s in prison. His mom’s buried under credit card debt. And he’s one step from failing. After everything his mom’s been through, she can’t take another disappointment. So when the guidance counselor gives him a choice, anonymously write the school’s advice column or drop out, what choice does he really have?
Student body president Nora Wilson has the perfect life. At least, that’s what everyone thinks. And with her dad running for governor . . . reputation is everything. She can’t let anyone know she’s drowning under the pressure. Except for an anonymous advice columnist.
Nora and Emerick can’t stand each other in real life. But online? They may have more in common than they ever thought possible.

Charming, Sweet, and Beautifully Affecting
What a charming, sweet, and beautifully affecting story! Dear Adam by Kelsie Stelting was such an awesome and delightful read that had me hooked from the beginning and left me feeling so full of happy in the end.
This story had everything I look for in a YA contemporary romance. The writing style was heartfelt and so amazing. I enjoyed both the POVS and totally loved reading the emails between Emerick and Nora. Those were definitely some of the best parts of this book. The characters were wonderfully realistic and relatable that it was difficult not to like them and cheer them on. The plot was charming, funny, and incredibly entertaining. There’s truly so many things to love and rave about this novel and I absolutely enjoyed everything about it. Stelting created such a beautifully meaningful story with humor and a lot of heart.
Emerick and Nora were fantastic characters and I adored reading about them. They were both dealing with their own personal issues and problems so I really enjoyed seeing them grow and change over the course of the story. I thought their chemistry was great and I loved how their relationship slowly blossomed into something more.
Dear Adam was an unputdownable story about friendship, honesty, self-discovery, and love. With plenty of adorably heartwarming scenes, light and fun moments, and a swoon worthy romance, this book had me smiling, laughing, and feeling all the wonderful FEELS. I highly recommend you add this delightfully entertaining book to your TBR!
I received an advance reader copy of this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I think the world’s a better place when people do what makes them happy.
We can’t go back. We can only go forward, knowing what we know, and make the best of the situation.
You are not your parents or your past or what other people think of you. You are who you choose to be when no one’s watching.
And some people you thought you’d never connect with might just be exactly what you needed.
Thanks for reading my review for this book. Until next time lovelies!!
