WWW Wednesdays

Hello lovelies! It’s been a while since I’ve done WWW Wednesday, but I’m finally and slowly getting back into the routine of blogging, reading, and reviewing. So without further ado, here is my WWW Wednesday which is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

wwwwednesday

Just answer these three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

I recently finished reading Pretty Dead Girls by Monica Murphy and really enjoyed that. It’s a YA mystery with a little romance mixed in and it was a very fun read. I’ll have my review posted tomorrow as part of the Blog Tour hosted by Chapter by Chapter. I also FINALLY finished reading Pumpkin Spice Secrets by Hillary Homzie . If you remember, I started reading this book around October, but had difficulty getting into it. Pumpkin Spice Secrets is a middle grade romance and fairly easy to read, but the storyline just wasn’t holding my interest. Well, in an effort to tackle my Netgalley TBR, I decided to continue reading it. To my surprise, I ended up really liking the story as whole. It’s cute and adorable and I’m sure a lot of tweens will love it. I’ll have my review for that sometime this week.

I’m currently reading Love Between Enemies by Molly E. Lee. I just started today, but so far it’s interesting. Enemies to lovers stories are super fun so I’m really excited to see how the romance will be in this one.

I’ll be reading Deadly Sweet by Lola Dodge , Pen and Xander by Laekan Zea Kemp and The Key to Everything by Paula Stokes. Crossing my fingers that I finish them all before their review due dates!

How are you all doing with your TBR? What are on your WWW Wednesday this week? Leave a comment down below. And as always, thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!!

Waiting On Wednesday – Ash Princess

waitingonwednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating. A similar meme, Can’t-Wait Wednesday, is hosted by Tressa over at Wishful Endings. If you’d like to participate in either one, don’t forget to link back to these lovely ladies and add your links in their posts.

My pick for this week’s “can’t wait to read” is

Ash Princess

Laura Sebastian

Ashprincess

Expected publication: April 24th 2018 by Delacorte Books for Young Readers

Genre(s): Young Adult, Fantasy

Synopsis

Theodosia was six when her country was invaded and her mother, the Queen of Flame and Fury, was murdered before her eyes. Ten years later, Theo has learned to survive under the relentless abuse of the Kaiser and his court as the ridiculed “Ash Princess.” Pretending to be empty-headed and naive when she’s not enduring brutal whippings, she pushes down all other thoughts but one: Keep the Kaiser happy and he will keep you safe.
When the Kaiser forces her to execute her last hope of rescue, Theo can’t keep her feelings and memories pushed down any longer. She vows revenge, throwing herself into a plot to seduce and murder the Kaiser’s warrior son with the help of a group of magically gifted and volatile rebels. But Theo doesn’t expect to develop feelings for the Prinz. Or for her rebel allies to challenge her friendship with the one person who’s been kind to her throughout the last hopeless decade: her heart’s sister, Cress.
Cornered into impossible choices and unable to trust even those who are on her side, Theo will have to decide how far she’s willing to go to save her people and how much of herself she’s willing to sacrifice to become queen.

This book sounds really awesome and thrilling! Revenge, seduction, and an unexpected romance with the enemy… YUP SIGN ME UP! Oh and it comes out on my birthday month so I’m definitely be getting this one.
