WWW Wednesdays

wwwwednesday

Hi lovelies! Time for another WWW Wednesday which is a weekly segment hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

Just answer these three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

I recently finished reading Love Between Enemies by Molly E. Lee and Deadly Sweet by Lola Dodge. Both books were adorable quick reads, but I definitely enjoyed Deadly Sweet a little bit more. That’s probably because it’s about baking and magic and that was just really fun to read about.

I’m currently reading The Key to Everything by Paula Stokes and Pen and Xander by Laekan Zea Kem. I just started both of them a few days ago, so I can’t say too much. I’m really enjoying them both though so I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Next, I plan on reading What the Valley Knows by Heather Christie and Right Kiss Wrong Guy by Natalie Decker. Both of these sound really fun, so I can’t wait to read them. Not to mention, they’re also on my Netgalley TBR which means I’m a wee bit closer to reaching my 80% feedback ration goal!

What are on your WWW Wednesday this week? Leave a comment down below. And as always, thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!!

Waiting on Wednesday – Always Never Yours

waitingonwednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating. A similar meme, Can’t-Wait Wednesday, is hosted by Tressa over at Wishful Endings. If you’d like to participate in either one, don’t forget to link back to these lovely ladies and add your links in their posts.

My pick for this week’s “can’t wait to read” is

Always Never Yours

Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka

Expected publication: May 22, 2018 by Speak

Genre(s): Young Adult, Contemporary

Synopsis

Megan Harper is the girl before. All her exes find their one true love right after dating her. It’s not a curse or anything, it’s just the way things are, and Megan refuses to waste time feeling sorry for herself. Instead, she focuses on pursuing her next fling, directing theatre, and fulfilling her dream school’s acting requirement in the smallest role possible.

But her plans quickly crumble when she’s cast as none other than Juliet–yes, that Juliet–in her high school’s production. It’s a nightmare. No–a disaster. Megan’s not an actress and she’s certainly not a Juliet. Then she meets Owen Okita, an aspiring playwright who agrees to help Megan catch the eye of a sexy stagehand in exchange for help writing his new script.

Between rehearsals and contending with her divided family, Megan begins to notice Owen–thoughtful, unconventional, and utterly unlike her exes, and wonders: shouldn’t a girl get to play the lead in her own love story?

You may have already seen this on my Top Ten Books I’m Looking Forward to in 2018 post. I’m just so incredibly excited for this book. The premise sounds really fun and super adorable.
