Good Evening loves!!! I’m a bit late posting my first ever Standalone Sundays, but better late than never. I had quite a busy day running errands and cooking this Filipino dish for the first time. My boyfriend requested it, so of course I had to try and make it for him. I must have been cooking for hours, but the end result was great! He loved it and wants me to make it again soon.

So without further ado, my first pick for Standalone Sundays is … UGLY LOVE by Colleen Hoover.

Synopsis
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn’t think it’s love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.
Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future. They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.
Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.
I read Ugly Love in 24 hours and absolutely loved it. This book made my heart ache so much, but also made me fall in love with love. I remember not being able to stop and just rereading my favorite parts over and over again when I had finished. It’s beautifully written, engaging, and incredibly romantic. Definitely had me swooning and if you haven’t read any of CoHo’s books, you’re certainly missing out.
Well that’s my first Standalone Sunday pick. Have you read this book? Comment below and let me know what you think.
One of my ultimate favorites stand alones is the song of Achilles

I’ve only read three of her books with Hopeless being my favorite so far. I have her other books, but just haven’t gotten to them. Which one is your favorite?

I’ve only read two books from her, but I have several. I love her writing, but I haven’t felt like reading anything too heavy lately.
