Hello lovelies and Happy Friday!!! What are some of your plans for the weekend? Me? I’m going to Disneyland tomorrow with my boyfriend to celebrate our 7 years and 1 monthsary!! We’re only staying for half the day and will be going to a nice dinner afterwards. Well, whatever you have planned, I hope you enjoy and have fun.
Now let’s get to my pick for my first Favorite Quotes Fridays!
Favorite Quotes Friday is a weekly segment where I feature 2-3 of my favorite quotes from a book I’ve read and loved.
I saw the movie adaptation of A Walk to Remember with some high school friends and I remember crying … A LOT. I loved the movie so much I decided to pick up the book and read it. And that was when I fell in love with romance books and Nicholas Sparks. I even did a book report/project on this book. For some reason, my English Lit teacher allowed us to pick this as one of our choices for an assignment. Anyway, I haven’t read every book Sparks has written. It’s also been a long while since I picked one up, but the ones I’ve read, I absolutely LOVE them all. That being said, it’s only fitting that I do my first Favorite Quotes Fridays featuring the first love story that made me swoon and gave me ALL THE FEELS. Oh and I think a reread is due sometime in the near future.
Quotes
“You have to promise not to fall in love with me.”
“Jamie saved my life. She taught me everything. About life, hope and the long journey ahead. I’ll always miss her. But our love is like the wind. I can’t see it, but I can feel it.”
“Without suffering, there’d be no compassion.”
So those are some of my favorite quotes from the book. I definitely have more than that. I highlighted a lot and made notes in the book, but I don’t have my copy anymore. I had lent it to an ex-boyfriend during my junior year and never got it back. (And this is why I don’t like lending my books to others). I think I had asked for it once after we broke up and he was supposed to mail it back to me, but never did.
Have you read this book or seen the movie? If so, what are some of your favorite quotes? Leave your comments down below and share some of you current favorite book quotes with me?
Thanks for stopping by and reading! Have a wonderful weekend loves!
